Printing color charts, swatchbooks or object charts
Color charts, palettes or color swatches, are among the main methods of choosing a color or variety of surfaces. These swatches are most commonly found with paint and plaster manufacturers, but are also suitable for importers of paper, cardboard and other print media, as well as anyone else working with a wide range of color shades.
To make it easier to see how given color would look like in a certain environment, some printed, clear film sheets can be added to the cards.
As well as in chart form, the samples can also be printed on sticker paper, which is then cut into small labels to be stuck on the finished product, so as to clearly indicate the color that will be achieved as a final result.
